Skibypalooza had a new face this year. We rented the swimming pool out at our local Rec center. We had it all to ourselves and it was a great time. We came back to our house afterward, the first time since Cy's second birthday. Normally, we take my Mom up on her offer to host the party since it means less cleaning and stress for me, this year the offer stood but I decided to clean my house and get the backyard ready and power through at our home. I'm such a big girl now. It was fun to have everyone over. The party was a success and the boys' were thoroughly spoiled as usual. We have such wonderful family and friends who make me look forward to this party all year long.
Both Boys were very brave. Both of them went off of the high drive, of course, I did not get a picture of that!!
I was pretty sure that if the life guards were going to have to save anyone, it was going to be one of the Dads.
I floated it out there on Facebook that I needed a Toy Story cake and a girl I went to High School with and whom I had not seen for 15+ years volunteered to make this amazing number here. I would love to be this creative and talented. Since I am not, it's nice to know people who are. Anyway she offered to make it at no charge, I didn't allow that. But I ended up just loving it. The boys thought it was so cool and it was delicious too.
